CertainTeed Gypsum, Inc. presents CertainTeed dBstation: the first interactive, virtual reality program, which simulates the acoustic performance of SilentFX Noise-Reducing Gypsum Board solutions. It allows comparison and selection of the best acoustic solution for residential and commercial applications.
We suggest that the optimal way of listening to the dBstation app is through headphones to ensure clarity and quality of the acoustic performance.
The acoustic simulator is composed of two parts:
•A catalogue where you can first compare systems under neutral conditions. A range of systems were selected to allow simulations and comparisons in order to promote the sound insulation benefits of those value-added systems. The sound varies in real time depending on user’s selection.
